The law firm of Friedman & Friedman, P.A., was founded in 1968 by founding
partner Marvin Ross Friedman. Since its inception, the firm has handled only
personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and product liability
cases for the plaintiff.
The firm has three trial lawyers, Gary Alan Friedman, Marvin Ross Friedman, and
John S. Seligman, and intentionally remains small so that the firm's attorneys
can provide personalized and focused attention to the clients they represent.
Friedman and Friedman, P.A., is highly selective in the cases its attorneys
handle and accepts less than five percent of the cases that are referred to them.
The firm has distinguished itself by providing superior legal work, aggressive
representation, and maximum client recovery, with an emphasis on litigating
large damage cases.
The firm has successfully represented numerous plaintiffs who suffered very
severe injuries and/or death as a result of negligence, medical malpractice or
defective products.
All three attorneys are accomplished trial lawyers and Friedman & Friedman, P.A.,
handles cases in south Florida and other jurisdictions, as well as international
litigation resulting from catastrophes such as plane crashes and other disasters.
The firm has successfully handled to conclusion cases wherein clients have
suffered death, brain damage, quadriplegia, paraplegia, blindness, or lost limbs.
Friedman & Friedman, P.A., litigates to verdict many cases each year and has
received multiple substantial verdicts.

(An Excerpt) "Gary Alan Friedman of Friedman & Friedman, P.A., Coral Gables,
recently obtained a confidential medical malpractice settlement resulting in an
eight-figure recovery for a minor child who is now deaf, blind, and
significantly brain damaged. The 1 year old otherwise healthy child entered the
hospital for a urinary infection and mild dehydration. Within 24 hours, the
child was in a coma and significantly damaged as a result of improper care and
mishandled fluid management. In addition, Mr. Friedman appeared on a 1-hour CNN
special in December 1995. The special related to the issue of whether
psychiatrists should be responsible for damages when one of their patients
injures an innocent third person. Mr. Friedman was counsel for a young man who
was gunned down by a psychiatric patient who had threatened to harm the young
man and whose threats were known by the psychiatrist. The case resulted in
appellate review and is the benchmark case in Florida on the issue. Friedman
appears in the Personal Injury Law: General, Personal Injury Law: Medical &
Professional Malpractice, and Personal Injury Law: Products Liability Chapters,
Consumer Edition."
